Luli | 6 comments my first language is spanish and my second english (wish i knew more lol) but what really helped me, besides taking classes, was listening to songs or watching movies with typical slang that english speakers use, words you wouldnt normally be taught in a class

Miranda Summerset (msummerset) | 22 comments Watch tv shows & movies of the language you want to learn. Its fun to pick up inflection & mannerisms of words/phrases used. Its why I learned French so fast, because I adore french films.


˙⋆.˚ ᡣ;ᴀɴɴÉ˙⋆.˚ ᡣ (ann13) for learning a language I tend to follow the basics as in the alphabet and focus a lot in their pronunciation. I have been learning Korean for years and already grew up in multilinguistic background as a child and the little progress makes it fun!

but currently I am trying to learn French, Italian and German. and I don't find any such source to start with :(

What helped most for me was turning my social media feed into my target language (meme pages, etc..), as well as listening to music and podcasts in that language, talking to natives is also helpful,...
