Yes, confirmed

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14224 comments For Celebration of Styles, what age are we using for Aged? When we had this challenge it was 75, but Aged has since been lowered to 70.

Elizabeth (Alaska) | 14224 comments Nevermind. I have 2 books where the author is over 75, so the 70 won't affect my choices.

Rosemary | 4275 comments Just for the record then, we will go with the definition of Aged in the original Celebration of Styles rules, ie 75+.

Morisaki and Mapping are 15 points each, so I think I have a total of 90 before last night’s 15-point post. Thanks!"

Thanks - corrected in the database, will show in next readerboard update. I can't find where Owlette posted this, so hope s/he will see the answer here.

It was on the Readerboard thread, which has always been a closed thread. I moved it over here to keep things clean there.

Deedee | 2279 comments Whoops! I'm doing 2 sub-challenges and I've been numbering both of them 15.1, 15.2, etc. How do y'all want me to fix it???

Can you please give the post numbers that should go with Subchallenge 2?

Should be 15.11 instead of 15.01
I've only posted one book for Sub Challenge Fall 2012 Know Your ABC’s so it is only that one post that needs to be renumbered.

Sorry for the mixup!

Thanks, Deedee, that's done.

Katy | 1214 comments I'm doing the Celebration of Styles subchallenge - will Kwei Quartey work as Non Western? He's born in Ghana and currently lives in the US but as far as I can tell would still be a citizen of Ghana as well.

We were torn with this one but sorry, it's a no, because he is an American citizen (since birth) and resident in the US, although doubtless a Ghanaian citizen too.

Military rule in Ghana ended in 1992, so he has been living in the USA at least that long.

We wondered if he would qualify for Young but haven't been able to find his date of birth. If you can find it and he's 50 or under, let us know, but from what he says in that interview, I think he is likely over 50.
