If you had the chance to live in the world of any novel, which one would you choose and why?

✧.*Just Roodina✧.* I would choose to live in the world of Harry Potter. The idea of studying at Hogwarts, learning magic, and exploring a hidden magical world sounds fascinating to me. I’ve always loved the idea of secret passages, flying broomsticks, and magical creatures. It’s a world full of wonder and adventure—much more exciting than the ordinary one!

Linda Wilgus | 2 comments Love this question! Probably any of Jane Austen’s novels for me as I’d love to travel back in time and see my favourite period im history. Then again to live in it would be tough as a woman, no rights etc.! So with that in mind I guess I’d pick Tolkien’s Middle Earth.

Reader | 21 comments it really depends on the author's perspective in any genre, but mainly in time travel between modern and ancient worlds & type of romance plots w/ less drama but more with everything else!

Hunter H. | 5 comments Treasures of the Lochs
The world I wrote about. This is suspenseful YA Christian fiction, involving a modern-day treasure hunt in Scotland, with a bit of supernatural thrown in. Blending historical fact and Scottish legend within an action-packed adventure, Treasures of the Lochs is a powerful story of faith, friendship, and redemption. The target audience is teenage and above (some parts would be too intense for younger readers). This book is a 2024 NIEA Finalist in Religion Fiction. It also hit Amazon#1 New Release for Christian Fantasy. I hope you’ll check it out.

Antonio Gallo (galloway) | 1 comments Living in the world of Spaceman of Bohemia by Jaroslav Kalfař would be an intriguing and introspective experience because it’s a world that blends the vast, mysterious beauty of space with deep, personal exploration of identity, history, and human connection. As Jakub Procházka, the first Czech astronaut, embarks on his mission to investigate the cosmic cloud JanHus1, I’d be immersed in the awe-inspiring solitude of space, confronting both the wonders of the universe and the weight of my own past. The novel’s mix of surreal encounters, like the enigmatic alien Nutella-eating spider Hanuš, and its grounding in Czech history and post-communist struggles would offer a unique chance to grapple with questions of purpose, sacrifice, and what it means to belong. Plus, the idea of floating in a spaceship, reflecting on life while staring into the infinite cosmos, feels both thrilling and profoundly humbling.
Spaceman of Bohemia by Jaroslav Kalfar

It sounds like a fascinating story! I enjoy books that mix adventure, history, and a touch of the supernatural. I might check it out soon.
