I have just created an author account on Goodreads - my name is Dr Abdul Qader Ismail. I have a middle name (Tahir) which I have not used on the front of my books. I am not sure if that is the cause of this issue or not. Under my author account, not all my books are showing up. But they are all on Goodreads - I can find them by searching for the title of a book, and then when I click on the author, they all come up on this page - https://www.goodreads.com/author/list.... Please advise how to resolve this problem.

Ah, I think the issue is that on some of my books it is recognizing the prefix of 'Dr' as part of the name, and not on others. Also, on some of the earlier editions / books, I did not include the prefix. So I think that is the issue, but how can it be resolved?
There should not be a "Dr" in the name; please ask support to merge the profiles, and make sure to remove it on Amazon as well.
On amazon it gives a choice if you want to put a prefix. Does using that option cause a problem? On my Amazon author profile page, all my books are shown.How do I ask support to merge two profiles? There doesn't seem to be a way to ask for help apart from posting a question here. Is that the method?

Thank you Shim.Not sure how to resolve the problem with regards to the prefix. There are some of my books where I would want to keep it and include it on the front cover. Surprised that with modern bibliography services, there can be problems recognising two names as the same with and without a prefix.
There is no mechanic like that on Goodreads. It strictly goes by what is entered in the text field.If books continue to be imported with the title in the name, they will keep going to the wrong profile.
Goodreads' policy is to not include prefixes in author names.
