there is alot of branching off you could do as a doctor...that is why it is a hard choice..i guess do the gp route and see how you like it? if you want to specialize you can always go back for an extra two years i think it is. might be less or more depending on the speciality.

I would like to be a internist (study of everything inside the body, but i heard it is a very...tough career because you are more responsible then a gp would be.) But it is something that intests me. just because there is a shortage of these types of doctors apparently.

I might just stick with pharmacist for now.

oh, got what shots are
GP's get 100k a year
maybe 150 thosand dollors???
but you have to do about 5 years of training and then move up through the doctor ranks

message 56: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (chasmofbooks) i thought doctors had to go through liek 8 years of schooling.

Things I want to be: Artist, author, actress, singer

I'm an *okay* artist, but not that good.
I'm not creative enough, often get writer's block.
Way too shy

Uh, it's fine. But they usually give me a hard time so it makes it long, unenjoyable, and hard ';casue then they won't learn. but sometimes there really good and i don't mind it but I mostly staretd it for a project in a program I'm doing at my church. it's just kind of stuck now.

message 86: by Casey (new)

Casey aw...
i have 2 living grandmas, and i never met one of my grandfathers

message 87: by Graziella (new)

Graziella (grazia) | 664 comments I'm sorry Casey, :( but i do know your feelings...

My situation is similar...I met my grandfather only twice the one that lived in italy before he died in 2003. Then my grandfather that you know all our lives passed away 2007, that was harder then the first time. Now my grandmother in italy isn't doing good, I think she might have had a mild stroke while talking to my mom on the phone. she fell just the other day. :(

anyhow I do have two living grandmas.

Aww :(

I have three living grandparents. My grandfather from my mom's side died before I was born; when my mom was... 19? But the other three are doing good. My grannie (mom's side) who lives in Ireland is outside 24/7 gardening.

message 89: by Graziella (new)

Graziella (grazia) | 664 comments that's good for her :) my grandma, on my dad's side, she does gardening still and she is 82 years old.

message 94: by Graziella (new)

Graziella (grazia) | 664 comments yeah but i would probably choose the warmer place if i could. :)

I would prefer it to be extremely hot then extremely cold.

message 95: by ~♥Alyssa♥~ (new)

~♥Alyssa♥~ (lyssie123) | 592 comments I'd rather have it be extremely hot. I hate cold.

When I grow up, as we've already discussed elsewhere, I will live in Rivendell. Or the Shire.

message 96: by Casey (new)

Casey hallo

~♥Alyssa♥~ (lyssie123) | 592 comments Katie wrote: "Rivendell probably never gets cold or hot."

Yep! It's perfect! ;)

In reality, when I grow up, I will be a Physician's Assisstant. I might get married. I will also go to college. I will have a Boston Terrier, a dachsund, a beagle, and a cat. And I WILL live in Rivendell. (Yes, I will, world, and you can't stop me.) Jk. Or am I...?
Sorry, I am so random right now.

message 98: by Casey (new)

Casey O.O

message 99: by ~♥Alyssa♥~ (new)
