I love that it starts with a clue board looking map! So fun!

(view spoiler)[okay so what's Mila's end game here? It sounds like she's specifically after someone but who? or could it be all of them?

and I think Alastor might have existed maybe at one point - but it seems that maybe he left her with an end mission after he passed? or maybe he didn't exist and it's always been Mila?

and what did Rodrigo do? it sounds like possibly something he did let someone bad go free?

Mila almost makes it sound like someone she knew wrote a story - but that maybe it was HER story or a real story? and she's mad they put it in a book?

I do wonder if Mila is after Fletcher - he seemed like he's always acting like he knows everyone and everything and I felt like he might have been the person at the door who asked her that question. . .but now I wonder

so, Rodrigo was #1. If his body isn't there when they wake up, though, I'll wonder if he's really dead! lol

and #2 is Casandra?! Wow, because she murdered her husband? Or because she did something with Fletcher?

and I can't help but wonder if it's actually Ash or Mr. Carter. He seems to keep wanting to keep close to Mila, get a read on her temp. He's always somewhere. . .around. I don't know, he's not giving me "cute interesting guy" vibe but a creepy one
AND I wonder if he could be Alastor's long lost son. Wasn't that some kind of rumor?

(view spoiler)[ oh man, if their map matched our map - why oh why wouldn't they see the HIDDEN DOORS AND PASSAGES!!! AAHHH!! lol

but Fletcher just feels to obvious. He's definitely Tim, not Tom, so maybe he's not an author at all. Is he faking at who he's being right now? is the person (Tim) a serial killer, though?

I was thinking Mila was after Fletcher but now I'm wondering if it's Olivia - and Rodrigo was a part of Mila's revenge?

I'm glad it doesn't appear to be Ash - interesting that he's "the detective" - and wow, his book is about losing a friend so sounds like he's the Child Murder - but I'd assume it was an accident . . .

Also, didn't Olivia say her novel wasn't entirely her own idea? Could she have stolen Mila's work? I'd be shocked, then, if she didn't recognize her. . . (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ although I felt a bit let down that it was Olivia that was the serial killer, I loved how it all wrapped up!

I'm so glad Cassandra not only got Mila out of the confessional but that she also left the island to her! I love that they are going to make it a retreat for writers! lol Are they still getting revenge that way or is it really a retreat now? I love that Violet and Mila were writing books together!
