On her doorstep Celeste turns to Max and looks at him. He was beautiful and she couldn't believe that she was with him. And yes, they had only known each other for about a week, she felt a strong pull to him, like she- "I love you" she says not even realizing she said it till it was out of her mouth

His words die on his tongue as he turns to see her father and the snobby ballerina. He narrows his eyes at Adam. How dare he show up here after he had made it so clear what he would do.

"Ah Celeste" her father says. "May we have a word? Adam and I have a proposal for you." As they walk into the house Adam leans towards Max and whispers "I told you she's would be mine"
