This is.... quite the horny book. To the degree that I look at the pears on the cover and think "damn you two, calm down already"
Okay, having finished the book, I can say there's more under the surface than just Sapphic clinches. (Which I'm not opposed to! But the middle third of the book was a lot of that.)
I really enjoyed this one. I can see why it didn't make the tob, but it's a romance with as Kyle says a lot more going on. very sexy
I loved this. Like Trespasses (which I think was in last year’s ToF?), the sparse descriptions and deep characterization lent themselves to a deeper story beneath the romance.
This is almost two different books or like walking into a room that is supposed to be one thing and then turn around - hey! it's a different room! I felt bewildered.
I started out actively disliking Isabel and Eva. I appreciated Isabel as the neurospicy individual that I think she most likely is, but I still didn't like her as a character. and yet, by Part II. I could not put this book down!I ended up really enjoying this book. I also appreciate the history lesson it gave.
