Nothing But Reading Challenges discussion
Tower Teams XI

Team Eiffel Tower

do you think

*also bonus because it works for another challenge I'm working on lol*

do you think

I definitely would say it works!

For tower teams, we can read the books at any time during the challenge? We just have to follow the order of the mini challenges to claim points?
Example:
If I read a book in France, but it's not needed yet, can we bank it for a future mini? Or do we have to read books fresh once the tasks become available?
Does that make any sense? I'm trying to organize the timing of my TBR.

perfect I'll add to the tracking sheet

It has squiggly lines with lily pads and gators in it, so I thought that was a river, specifically the Nile river. Do you guys also think this works for having a river on the cover (even though its kind of abstract)?

Only for the Traveling Around the World mini you can use banked books. The other 2 you cannot

I’m ready!

Very excited for this challenge!! Also if any of you recommend or read any fav books during this challenge please feel free to post, always looking for good reads (not like my tbr is already long enough)

Also, Haley, the Emily Wilde book you are reading is set in a fictious country that is supposed to be Iceland. I don't know if that counts for the country or not.

Rebecca, looks like I was wrong. We can bank books for Mini 2 & 3, just not Mini 1

This was correct.
Mini 2 - Travelling Around the World - you can bank books for.
Mini 1 and Mini 3 do not allow for banked books.

Also I found this that can work for a character with a sculptor for one of our tasks:

So when we finish a task on mini 2 a new task will populate. This time it's "Read a book that is in the Foreign Lands List"

I'm so sorry! Sending my prayers!

Done! I got so used to skipping over it that I forgot I needed to start adding books to it.

I'm sorry to hear that Teresa, sending virtual hugs to you & your family!

Thank you, Haley! I have Project Hail Mary on my TBR so I can definitely do that one for space. :-)

I've heard amazing things about - The Lion Women of Tehran. I have it on hold, but won't put it on the sheet until I see if the library comes through.

Oh awesome! I received a copy for Christmas last year so it's time to dust it off!

Adding the lion Tehran to my tbr for this challenge, maybe I’ll find at the library

I also absolutely loved Project Hail Mary I think they're making it into a movie as well in 2026

I'm from Tennessee. Favorite place I've travelled is the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. Bucket list is anywhere outside of the US! I love it here but definitely want to travel more!
I'm going to browse around and see what I should be looking at for my TBR...
