The original language is Japanese (but the title's written in Chinese since it's a historical novel): "黑牢城" (Kurorōjō - くろろうじょう) which literally means "Black Prison" or "Black Dungeon Castle".

Despite the different titles, they're the same book. The main characters are named "Araki Murashige" and "Kuroda Kanbei".

Also, in the preview available on the Amazon website: https://www.amazon.com/Samurai-Prison... the original title is stated as: "Kokurōjō".
