This was interesting. As 'behind the scenes' your book showed as public. Praise isn't allowed in descriptions on Goodreads so I removed that. I removed all the emoticons too. I've never seen so many in a description & I wondered if they were causing the issue. When I pressed 'save' I was asked if i was sure I wanted to make the book public (!)

Also is S.T.A.R. a series by Goodreads standards or an imprint. If it is a series can you tell me what makes it one?
No longer showing as invalid for me. I do think it could have been all the coding in your description.

My debut middle grade fiction book was on Goodreads for a few days, but when I checked this morning I received the message that the 'item does not meet our catalog guidelines and can no longer be rated or reviewed.'
Please help me understand why this is the case. It is a self-published ebook, paperback and hardcover for struggling readers. It's the first in a series and is definitely a genuine book.
