skylan :) | 190 comments hey! I’m in a reading slump and hate this feeling so much but the thing is, I want to still read the book I’m currently reading, (catching fire) what do I do to get out of this slump?

Jude of Hearts (school hiatus) (mortaljoud) | 81 comments it may sound harsh but you have to force yourself to read it 🥲 i would've said try another book but you obviously want to read the same one so i don't think you have any other choice except maybe setting a timer for 10 minutes and not allow yourself to stop reading, I think one automatically goes with the flow and suddenly can't stop anymore

Sole ⋆⭒˚.⋆ (fionagallagher) | 26 comments When I’m in a reading slump I usually pause whatever I’m reading, even if I’m planning on finishing it, and re-read one of my favourite books (preferably one that isn’t too long.) That usually helps me get back into it.

fxtxrx cxrpsx | 7 comments when I have issues going forward I try to have 20 page sessions
its enough so that I got something done but it is not an overwhelming goal
sometimes I do like 20 pages than do something else ..like idk .. clean something up and read 20 pages more

You have to figure out which book genre(s) are fit for you because you probably haven’t been reading the right books for you! Follow me or my group the book girlies to get personal book requests! To you specifically
