ACOTAR. Questioning on whether I should read it or not.

I recently bought A Court of Thorns and Roses and A Court of Mist and Fury. I've never read Fantasy/Romantasy before and kinda scared on reading the books. Need your guy's opinions on the books and maybe some guidance on them and also those 2 genres. Thanks ♡

Omg I think you should read it I enjoyed it so much!! And everyone says the first book is bleh but I actually kinda loved it..the second book is definitely the best, so if you don't really like the first you can look forward to the second if you want to keep reading the series

no you should definitely read it it’s what got me back into reading and into romantacy, it’s such a fun series and i really hope you enjoy it if you decide to read it!!!

They are a really great series and you should absolutely read them ♥ I wasn't really into reading and picked the first one up on a whim and now I am obsessed with everything fantasy/romantasy. They are a great introduction fantasy reading and have such lovable characters!!

you should 100% read the series personally the first one is hard to get through a little but the rest of the series is my whole life I love it so much !

I can see that. I found it quite an easy read, but I was really new to reading and the fantasy genre so I had nothing to compare it to. I think if I were to read it for the first time today I might take a little longer to get through

i really enjoyed the series but i’m stuck on reading the last book bc it’s a bit slow and to be honest i’m just not into it

I think it is a fun, easy read. It got me back into the momentum of reading last year, even though I didn't really stick to the romantasy genre. It was a fresh concept to me and the first two books were really enthralling. I can look back on the series now and know it wasn't perfect, but there's something about the characters themselves that really kind of made me forget about the story's imperfections. Definitely worth a shot, especially since you already bought them!

im still avoiding it because its still overhyped on every platform going but when I get over myself I would love to start reading it. I've got a mental block though when everyone's promoting it it puts me off a book.

for me it was at it peck at the first book but went down hill as the series when on.
