Oh girl this is a domestic violence book 😭 it's not marketed like it but it is... Ryle is most definitely in the wrong.

@Riri i dont remember lily doing that. it is about domestic violence, about anger control and temper issues, childhood trauma and stuff. but i rly think ryle might've improved on second chance, to win her back again, but coho did him bad in book 2. im not defending him and you certainly should not be with someone who abuses you in any way, but i think if we follow book 1 ryle, he mightve had a redemption arc somewhere. and i speak as someone who has once, very long ago, slapped her sister in anger and DID NOT REALISE IT HAPPENED. i only got to know i did that after my parents scolded me. that has only happened once and never again and me and my sister are very close rn, but when i was reading i always assumed it was smth like that with ryle. I AM NOT DEFENDING HIM, PLEASE DONT COME AFTER ME 😭🙏 just giving my opinion
