☁︎Grace☁︎ | 409 comments Soo like I have a bunch of quizzes and tests tomorrow and I am EXHAUSTED. I had state testing today too so that was draining but I NEED to prepare NOW. I already studied for one of my test, but another one I got to go is like 60 vocabulary words and I have to know each one with each definition without a word bank and I just don't know how to prepare. I've been really burnt out and dealing with a lot of mental health problems so I just haven't studied. I am completely aware that this is on me and this is my fault, but if anyone has any studying tips I will forever be in debt to you.

A | 239 comments what i usually do when i need to study a bunch of definitions is make flashcards and then try to say the definions at loud. i set aside the ones i have already memorized by coping them and then read the rest and just repeat that several times until i know every single one. although usually i do this with biology concepts with are like three lines long and are easy to learn so i don't know if that will be of any help. also, stress is your worse enemy. yes, you could have studied sooner, but you cant change that now. focus on what you can change, meaning learning the stuff now. sometimes i get so stressed i cant even think straight and end up sabotaging myself. good luck!! you got this!

Sole ⋆⭒˚.⋆ (fionagallagher) | 26 comments Completely agree with the previous comment about flashcards. They’re the best for vocabulary studying and if you’re able I’d recommend printing them, I feel like the information is easier to retain if you have it on paper.
Apart from flashcards I also like to have a paper with all the definitions in alphabetical order, in case I need to quickly look for one (and again, if you have time it’s better to hand write them.) Good luck!!! 🍀

Hannah | 20 comments Flash cards for sure! However, breaks are also important to clear your mind. Maybe a mini dance party before you go back to study? That’s what I do for a reset 😂 you got this !! 💓

𓆉 Elle 𓆉 (Semi-Hiatus) | 337 comments Omg I have felt your pain! Here are some things that really helped my younger sister and me (when I was in school)

-Quizlets
-Blookets
-Flash Cards

Also try and chunk your studying- for example if you have 60 vocab worlds you need to study, chunk them into groups of 10 to 20 and then study them for about 25 minutes then take a 5minute break and then go to the next group. Taking short little breaks helps to better clear your mind and then you don’t get frustrated and upset and you’re just generally able to think better. I hope this helps and believe me I know studying can be hard, but hang in there and your outcome will be totally worth it!

Jessie ツ (jessie69) | 70 comments Agree w/ Flashcards bc of ur time crunch
(When going thru them if u know it/get it right every time - take it out of pile; ones u keep messing up go back and read/learn more content; Also try to make sure ur not just using memorization - that’ll mess u up in my experience; so don’t go falshcards in same order, mix it up, match definition to word & vice versa)

w/ vocab u can also look at pneumonic devices or little sayings in ur head to trigger a words meaning or see if any have prefix/suffix to give u clue

-this wont help ur time crunch but in future id rec: looking at blooms taxonomy & encoding/processing as it relates to studying. helped me not have to study as often.

Best of luck!!! 🫶🫶

Elara And you can use this prompt for chatgpt:

Analyse this {insert doc.} based on the information provided, create practice questions for me based on blooms taxonomy. I need questions about level 1 till 5. I need to remember, understand and be able to apply, evaluate and analyse content.
