Can't add alt cover

Most of my books allow me to add a new Cover edition but these two have no option to do that in the drop-down box, no matter which of the existing covers I select as a starting page. Please could you give me the option to add new cover editions to these:

That post says new cover editions can't be added for Kindle editions, but the books I'm trying to add new covers for have ebook (not Kindle) editions that still don't have the option to add alt covers, namely these:

I need to update the covers for those two.

The ebook editions with old covers are the former ACEs.
I updated the Kindle editions to the current covers. You can make them the default editions.

Thank you. When I click the edit page for those books they already seem to be the defaults (assuming that's the same thing as "primary edition").
