Real 😭 I've felt like that every single day for the past year

this feels so relatable! like idk some days i just feel like my head is so heavy, and nothing is interesting me or making me happy, and i don't know what to do
Thank you so much for bringing attention to this topic! I really appreciate the time and energy put into these responses.
Don't be afraid to reach out to me if you need to talk about anything. My Goodreads messages are always opened and I frequently check.

Oh man. Real 😭 Literally they can insult you in front of your face and then when you ask them to stop it’s “talking back”!! And then they wonder why their kids don’t trust them.

OMG SAME
my parents think i should be so perfect and everything, literally a few minutes ago my dad came into my room to talk to me about math, and rather than being happy that i'm in an honors and accelerated class, he told me that a b is "very bad" and i need to bring it back up to an a. though he doesn't get it at all, it's literally impossible to have an a in that class. and i try so hard, i spend so much time, and he's like, "you just have to try harder". like believe it or not i have other priorities! i already spend hours studying for that damn class, i try so hard why can't you see that?

Yeah I feel like that a lot. Especially for introverted people, certain people's energy can drain you when you're around them a lot. By chance do you do a lot of masking or like changing your personality when you're around them? I often mask my real personality and act completely different around certain people and that's extremely emotionally draining.

That's really valid. Thank you for bringing that up.
