I'm finishing up book 1 and planning to start book 2 this weekend. i have the hard cover but i just did the audio of book 1 and now i'm back and forth on which one to do.

End of Chapter 11

(view spoiler)[Ugh...I didn't love the first one in this series. I thought originally I didn't like it because the world is so different from TOG and ACOTAR, so I found it quite jarring as I read all of the series back to back. However, that may not be the case. I read the first chapter and was immediately more invested in Sophie than I have been with Bryce or Hunt. They aren't my favourite, and I don't feel the chemistry for whatever reason. I'm just not sold on them.

Unfortunately, after one chapter, we are immediately back to Bryce and Hunt, so I was a little disappointed.

So far, I'm enjoying this one more than the first. However, I mostly enjoy the parts that aren't Bryce and Hunt talking about how they are waiting for the solstice.

Regardless, we will carry on! I'm holding out for the ending, which I hear is something special. (hide spoiler)]

I spent so much time overthinking if I'm going to do the audio or reading the physical book and now the month is over lol. Brittni, I'm down to do a BR for the series starting in June

Kim! I ended up finished it and still need to do the updates! I've been horrible at posting my updates for books this month. The ending of book 2 absolutely got me and I immediately started book 3.

I read Crescent City in preparation for this, and didn't leave enough time for this (got distracted by other books as always lol). I don't think I'll get it done by the fifth... I'd be up for a buddy read of the series starting very soon if you guys are?

Although, I'll still attempt to read it by the 5th ;) We'll see.. too late to start tonight AND I'm reading Gideon the Ninth to get it in by the 5th too, as well as some ARCs so... it's a long shot lol.
