Ive read it and really enjoyed it plus her other one The Heretic Queen

So I'll be able to join the group discussion sooner than I thought - no waiting for a copy to become available. But naturally, of the 3 above, the one that has not yet arrived is TSiS. It's supposed to be here Monday or Tuesday - in the meantime, I'm reading The Camel Club for the Mystery Book Club

I know the feeling - my copy isn't supposed to arrive until late next week :( Isn't it always the case that the one you want the most arrives the latest?

try to read the whole Welsh trilogy, you won´t regret it, on the contrary. Happy reading.
I just got the first two books in the Welsh trilogy for my birthday. I am looking forward to starting them.

I finished Here Be Dragons yesterday and I loved it. Haven't read her books before.
I bought Four Queens The Provencal Sisters Who Ruled Europe by Nancy Goldstone and The Traitor's Wife by Susan Higginbotham

Glad for you, Paula - I'm still waiting for mine to arrive
I placed an amazon order for a couple of school related books and had to add another to get the super saver shipping (the things I do to save money, such a chore LOL). I added Mary Boleyn: The True Story of Henry VIII's Mistress and the parcel just came yesterday. So excited, it looks great!

The Lady in the Tower
The Children of Henry VIII
The Wars of the Roses
Pope Joan: A Novel
The Heretic's Daughter (not royal but historical)
The Borgia Bride: A Novel (after discussing the future Showtime series)
Kate - I read The Heretic's Daughter and thought it was pretty good, you'll have to let me know what you think of it.
I also have The Borgia Bride: A Novel and figure I should read it before the series debut on Showtime.

Hi Kate, I'm still reading the book on Arab Historians of the Crusades. Hopefully I'll finish quick and start reading one of the History of Royals! I see you got a few books already to read.
Thanks
Regulo

Hi Lyn, Kate, Thanks for the update on the next February readings on The "Sunne in Splendour." Sounds like an interesting reading. I need to pick up the book at either Amazon, Barnes & Noble or Borders here in the California/USA. Looking forward to the group discussion soon , after I finish reading Arab Historian of the Crusades about another 100 pages.

The Sunne In Splendour: A Novel of Richard III by Sharon Kay Penman
The House of Treason: The Rise and Fall of a Tudor Dynasty by Robert Hutchinson

It looked really interesting, so am wondering if anyone else has read it and what..."
I read it when it first came out and really liked it. It follows two contrasting sisters, a bit like The Other Boleyn Girl in that respect. My review is here: http://www.carlanayland.org/reviews/n...
if interested.

I read it and liked it. It was a nice change of scenery to read about ancient Egypt. That's a time period that's always fascinated me and she really brought it to life in this book.
So funny Carla, I thought of TOBG, too when I was reading Nefertiti.

Glad to hear you are liking it Jennifer. I am trying to slog through a boatload of library books that all came in at the same time, and 7 of which are due some time this month. How do I get myself into these things!
I have whittled it down from 18 to 11, YAY, and am hoping to get a couple more done before I have to pick up some more! How about you, what are you working on currently?
Congrats! Still not getting much reading done these days... haven't picked up Cleo since I put her down... sort of sad... I'm currently reading The Borgia Bride. Add that one to your pile... I think you'll love it :)

Please do... lots of catching up to do!
