Hi everyone, I'm so happy to be part of this community of memoir lovers! 💛
My name is Linda A. Sanchez, and I recently published my debut memoir, Lost & Found: The Journey of Socorro. It’s the true story of how I was found as a toddler on the streets of Guadalajara, raised in a Mexican orphanage, and later adopted into a U.S. family. It weaves together themes of identity, abandonment, motherhood, faith, healing, and the search for belonging.
The journey to write this book has been deeply personal—and at times, incredibly emotional—but I’ve been amazed by how many people connect with it, whether through adoption, family estrangement, or finding their voice later in life.
I'm also thrilled to share that the Spanish version, Perdida y Hallada: El Viaje de Socorro, is now available in both Kindle and paperback.
If you’re interested, here’s the Amazon link to the English version (the one that works best for sharing!). I'd love to connect with other writers or readers who’ve walked similar paths or are simply drawn to stories of hope and healing.
