Lord that injury that Rose had thanks to Matt must have hurt like hell, I know breaking my ankle hurt but the bone didn't break through the skin.

I agree he should have just stayed home and what happened wouldn't have happened. now things after that, I really don't remember what happened to Lark for Rose to go after her to save her, but the way Fionn tried his best to save the dog and Rose was heart wrenching. (hide spoiler)]

Okay this wasn't my favorite of the three books but it was still good. I loved the relationship between Fionn and Rose but it could also have been more.
