Sometimes an author’s work may look fun or interesting but for one reason or another it just doesn’t work for you. Grady Hendrix’s stuff doesn’t look like my kind of thing (as you could probably guess) so I don’t have anything to say about it specifically.
I read Horrorstör, which was totally tongue-in-cheek, like watching the movie Army of Darkness. While the concept was funny, the book itself was not all that interesting. It was a very quick audio read, or I probably would not have read it.

I have also failed to read Horrorstor and put it on my "never read" shelf (don't remember why) and also abandoned We Sold Our Souls. I did read My Best Friend's Exorcism and The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires, but I wasn't that crazy about them. The only one I seemed to have I liked was The Final Girl Support Group, which I really do not remember
I thought I might read his How to Sell a Haunted House, which has been on my list for a while, but now I am not sure I will bother. Has anyone read it? What do you think? Is it just me?
