I'm currently reading this book from the library, and here is what's at the end of the book:
- Story ends on page #279
- Blank page (un-numbered)
- "A Note on Pronunciation" - un-numbered, but would be #281
- Blank page (un-numbered)
- Acknowledgements - un-numbered, but would be #283
- Blank page (un-numbered)
- "extras" title page - un-numbered, but would be #285
- Blank page (un-numbered)
- "Meet the Author" - numbered #287
- Blank page (un-numbered)
- Excerpts from other books - pages #289-308
- Only several blank pages and an ad for the publisher after that.

The Librarian Guidelines say to include any relevant end material (such as Notes or Acknowledgements or About the Author pages) in the page count, but not to include excerpts from other books or ads. So please correct the page count to 287 to include the relevant material, but not the other stuff.
