& I have looked into this a bit further but don't feel confident enough to do the combining, as I'm not sure if Man's Search for Meaning & Man's Search for Ultimate Meaning are the same book.
Regarding the Young Adult Versions it sounds like these versions are combined on a case by case version. I think this needs a librarian familiar with Frankl's work.

Hi,
I happened to talk to the editor of this Portuguese edition a week or two ago. It is a little complicated, in fact, but I think I can explain. The editions I linked are all of the same book, which has an awful lot of different names.
It was published originally under the name Ein Psychologe erlebt das Konzentrationslager ("A Psychologist Experiences the Concentration Camp"). Its first English edition was named "From Death-Camp to Existentialism", and all its modern editions are named "Man's Search for Meaning".
This specific "Young Adult Edition" is just a Beacon Press' trick to try and avoid a few copyright issues. It consists of the original book's text (Frankl's memoirs), an abridged version of the article on logotherapy that most (although not all) editions include as a second part of the book and some appendices at the end (a glossary, a selection of letters and a timeline of events). Even though it's advertised as "adapted", the original text is unaltered. The article on logotherapy, despite nowadays being included in most editions, is actually just a supplement established by convention and does not pertain to the book's essence.
But if you don't feel confident, you can for now at least combine the Portuguese edition to the Young Adult Edition, as it is its direct translation. I can try to answer any doubts of yours as well.
Also, yes, "Man's Search for Ultimate Meaning" is a different book (but I didn't mention it anywhere, so you can leave that one alone).
