The Templars’ Last Secrets -Walker Audio performance by Robert Ian MacKenzie 4 stars
Cozy Mystery and Thriller are difficult labels to apply to the same book. I think it’s possible with the books in the Bruno series. This book has the wonderful, picturesque setting in the Dordogne. It is specifically focused on ancient archaeological sites, from cave paintings to the medieval Château de Commarque. There’s food, wine and a wedding in the works. Very cozy.
Of course there is a murder. This does happen in a cozy mystery plot. Thrillers are the books with international terrorism, kidnapping, suicide bombers, and the threat of mass murder. All in all this book also qualifies for that label. Naturellement.
