I did a bit of research, and it turns out the book doesn't have an ISBN. Also, the ASIN listed here in goodreads (B00235RVB6) is different than the one listed in the Amazon page I sent ( B0007DKUNM):

I believe this is due to how the ASIN is assigned and the rarity of the book. However, there is a single English edition in 1962 for this book, so the Amazon and Google links must refer to it. I actually had the book in hand, and it had exactly 177 pages as in the links I provided.

Can the page number be added even if the ASIN reference is not exact?

Google can't be used for a source for anything on Goodreads.

For 'dead tree' (hardback, paperback) books only the ISBN is relevant - & your book is too old to have one. These ASINS are selling ones from Amazon which are now imported on to Goodreads. I would agree this is confusing.

Can you assure me that your page count doesn't include advertising material, an extract from another book or blank pages from another book & I will be happy to add this for you. & is your copy's cover is exactly the same as this one.

Yes, the copy I had in hand was exactly 177 pages, without any other material. and it had the same cover as the one you posted and as the one on the goodreads page.
