Long Series Book Recs

Hi everyone! I'm in DESPERATE need for books that won't make me cringe. I'm not against cliche but I recently read a book from the Addicted Series and could hardly get through it because of the characters. I'm open to anything but I'm a sucker for fantasy and romance. Some books I've loved are the Throne of Glass Series, acotar, pride and prej, jane eyre, and things like that. lmk you're favorite books!!!

I'm reading the Plated Prisoner series by Raven Kennedy, and I really like it. I'm on book 3 so far. book one was so-so, but the story is different and interesting.

It’s called skulduggery pleasant and it’s 18 books long with novellas and short stories not included in that number. It’s about a child and skeleton detective solving crimes and saving the world
