In this collection of short pieces by Keller she provides a look into the world she inhabits. How the absence of 2 of her senses have not made her world narrow but rather have made her other senses open up her mind to a broader world than some with all 5 sense experience. She uses her remaining senses and her imagination to create a complete world. This was beautifully written including references to philosophers, authors, psychologists, poets and artists to back her points.

When you consider she had no communication skills or framework for the world until she was 7 and at 24 she has a college degree and writes profoundly on the subject. Amazing.
