DONE Fix wrong book cover? Not clear on steps

I've started one thread already tonight. It'll stop with this 2nd one, I promise! :)

My publisher put up Sub-Luminal with a placeholder cover. I'd like to change it. Are there any simple step by step instructions to doing this? I started manually adding an 'alternate cover edition' as per the instructions I found (Librarian Manual: Adding an alternate cover edition), but the system says please use the current edition. I'm a bit confused and don't want to mess anything up.

Any help, appreciated. If relevant, you can see how the cover is supposed to look on Amazon for example.
