I completely agree with your thoughts on this ray. I can see where the skepticism of post modernism started out healthy. But now it has just mutated into a call for the removal of all standards. People my age or younger look at the past and see beauty in art and music and look at what we have created in the modern day which is just ugly. We wonder what was lost along the way. We rediscover why beauty and standards are important.
