I currently separate my read books from my unread books, and while I like that it gives me a very clear (and sobering) overview of what I have yet to read (and moving the books from 'unread' to 'read' is definitely satsifying), it does kinda hurt my brain to constantly see series split apart, and it does get bothersome to always need to work out space for fresh books on my read shelves once I've read them. For now, I'm keeping it the way it is, but once I move I'm wondering if maybe I'll go back to sorting without separating the read from the unread?

I didn't much in February, so I'm hoping I get to more of my physical tbr in March. I keep buying books though, so I'm just adding more to my physical tbr. It's never going to end, lol.
I'm also shipping a lot of books back to California since I plan on moving back, so some unread books will not get a chance any time soon, but I picked out books I do want to focus on while I'm still living in NYC, and that includes 45 books (not including the current book I'm reading right now).
Oh, and I realized that my tastes might have changed after not loving The Poppy War, so I've added a new goal and that's to rediscover what I like and need in the books that I read, and I find it exciting to dive into more genres to rediscover my likes and dislikes!

I think setting up a separate shelf for TBR sounds fun to do! It definitely feels like it'll help organize everything. I would probably consider doing this if I had the space to do so, lol.

So far I've read a good amount of books, but only 6 of them were books i already owned. I bought 1 new book and the rest where books from my kindle. All in all i think its going well, I'm really trying not buy any new books!!

Congrats on meeting a goal and finishing The Poppy War!!
Rediscovering what you like is a FANTASTIC goal!! I have been feeling bad about being disinterested in books that I've owned for years, but I'm not the same person I was 10 years ago so it's completely fine to like or want to read different books compared to my 19-year-old-self haha.

That's so great!! Keep going!!
I can relate to the brain-hurting at seeing series being separate, I just separated mine this weekend and I'm finding it is great motivation to read them to get them all back together again haha.

I think it's doable even just on one bookshelf, I've seen some people have their TBR at the bottom and the read books at the top etc, worth a shot even if you think you don't have enough "Space", if they all fit the space is there, just takes a reshuffle haha.

I read quite a few more books in Feb vs Jan so I was REALLY pleased about that. I feel like I was in a bit of a reading slump and we were moving house so it was challenging at first. Eventually I got really into it and finished book after book.
I didn't read as many from my shelf as I would have liked, I think I read a few too many digital books that I didn't own, and I have been doing a few reread too.
So in terms or reading: good, in terms of project tbr 0: could be more focussed!
So that is my goal for March, to prioritise my Physical books again now that they are all unpacked! I also want to organise them and potentially separate my TBR from my read books entirely. Does anyone else do that? Or do you keep them mixed?
PS check out the Challenges section in the group to set your own Physical TBR goal!!
