Jessa | 1 comments Hi, I'm Jessa, a sophomore in college majoring in Political Science who is looking for a small side hustle. I have always loved reading, and have been known to be the best editor and proofreader in all of my college and high school classes. My favorite genres are fantasy, romance, historical fiction, YA, and classics. I give honest critiques while still being respectful and helpful. I am new to "professional" editing and reading, but I am positive I will catch on quickly. I listed my minimal pricing per service below. I am excited to work with you!

Line-Editing: In-depth look at each sentence asking- Does it flow well? Does it make sense? Is it redundant? etc. Anything under 35,000 words is currently free. Works 35,000+ words are $5 per 10,000 words after 35,000. Turnaround time is 1-2 weeks.

Proofreading: A more broad look at your work to ensure it is clear and concise, and that no mistakes were missed. Anything under 40,000 words is currently free. Works 40,000-70,000 are $10. Works 70,000+ are $15-20. Turnaround time is 1-2 weeks.

Beta-reading: Two reports are given: A general report that goes over my thoughts and general changes I would suggest. A chapter-by-chapter critique that focuses on the positives and negatives, reader engagement, and more by chapter. Anything under 40,000 words is $5. Works 40,000-65,000 are $10. Works 65,000+ words are $15-30. Turnaround time is 2-3 weeks.
