Hi! I'm J. S. Charpie. Husband. Father of 5. And learning (slowly) to truly rest in relationship with God and walk with Him.

I wrote a book (Maturing into a Man: A father's guide to growing up into a man who loves God and others well) last year for my son when he turned 13 to try to put down on paper the major lessons I want him him to learn.

After 5 years on disability, I've grown a lot closer to God, and I've been toying with writing another book trying to put more concrete words to how knowing God is a relationship. Coming from a Baptist background, we don't have a lot of good, strong, Biblical language around how we hear God and know he is leading, it's all a bit wishy washy, so I'm wanting to clear that up. I look forward to posting the new book here for feedback as I go and maybe reviews when I get closer to listing it.
