Goodreads/Amazon now put ASINS on all book records - whether kindles or not.

Does your copy have an ISBN?

The book does not have an ISBN. It only shows an LCCN.

I copied the ASIN that was previously entered on Goodreads to verify the edition that matched mine.

The cover, publisher, and date all match.

Thank you for that - I was just explaining that for librarian purposes it is a meaningless number - & Amazon has now assigned it to a different edition of the book.

I've had a look on World cat, which is our preferred site for confirming page counts, but that site is playing up for me.

So if you could just confirm for me that your page count doesn't include Roman numeral pages at teh start, advertising material, an extract from another book or blank pages right at teh end, I'll be happy to add this for you. :)
