I am going with a pick I got at my last haul from Goodwill....I will be reading Then She Was Gone by Lisa Jewell
HAPPY TBR READING!!
I got one in the mail from WoB yesterday, but I have also 9 more on the way which of 7 I have already chosen for other prompts. One of the the other two, I already have a buyer for so I'll read that first. I will add it as soon as it arrives.Got the rest of the books, will be reading The Bird Atlas: A Pictorial Guide to the World's Birdlife.
I'll probably end up reading:Formidable: American Women and the Fight for Equality: 1920-2020
I ordered this book in paperback and it should come in this week. Even though I have the hardback it's a book I haven't gotten to reading yet.
The Man Who Died Twice
I was gifted The Man Who Died Twice by Richard Osman - I had to read book 1 before reading but have just finished the second book.
Going to try and read as much of my TBR shelf as possible this year.
Mort is the last book I purchased in a hardcopy, however I've since also purchased it on Kindle. I was also going to use it for character name in the title, but I've gone over my 8 book limit for March, so I will find another book for that prompt.
I am reading When the Stars rain Down by Angela Jackson-Brown, I purchased this book earlier this month for the over40 book club on booktok.
When the Stars Rain Down was the last book I acquired at the time of this post… it is also the book for the #over40booktok book club this month, about 1/3 the way through and it is a great book!
I had The Great Penguin Rescue: 40,000 Penguins, a Devastating Oil Spill, and the Inspiring Story of the World's Largest Animal Rescue by Dyan deNapoli on order when this prompt came out.
The Man Who Died Twice
I was given this book last summer but it has been on my TBR list since then (Had to read book1 first)
I read The Reformatory for this prompt. It is described as “Horror”, which I had never read before. I was concerned about reading this genre and made sure I cut it off way before bedtime. I expected it would be a fast paced line a thriller, but is was very slow and long winded. Nothing like what I expected. It is highly rated on GR, but 2 stars for me. Glad it is off my TBR.
I read The Family Experiment by John Marrs for this prompt. Rated 5 stars - very interesting & hopefully not something we would ever try....
I read Sunrise on the Reaping by Suzanne Collins, which was the last book I bought in March, and tbh, there's no way it would've sat very long on my bookshelf unread - the stakes were simply too high. :)
Chicago Rage
Arrived yesterday, just trying to finish up my current physcial read before I start it!

For this prompt, read the book that you acquired (purchased, borrowed, were gifted, etc) last but haven’t read yet. As with all our prompts, this may be a physical copy, e-read, audiobook, etc.
There will be no Goodreads list for this prompt as everyone has a different TBR
