The teacher by freida McFadden, it got me out of a slump and it's suuuuper good. It's a thriller, and no one really solves any mystery but yourself and that makes it amazing

young adult books got me out of a slump. Also manga because you can read through those quicker than literature books. I enjoyed school of good and evil but book two ruined it for me and the other books are on my shelf waiting to be read.

that second one sounds trans coded but it could also be a guy who just likes dressing in girls clothes

I'm also concerned about how the guy went missing sounds like a small town with too many secrets = they are the best reads usually. Any other books similar?

I am new to the group, but The Girl in 6E by A.R. Torre stayed with me a long time after I read it! There are no spoilers, but it is about a girl who locks herself in her apartment to avoid acting on her violent urges. Shiver.
Also are we allowed to mention our own thriller? Don't want to break rules.

Okay, I just viewed your account and we seem to enjoy pretty similar books. An AMAZING book I just finished that you might enjoy is If He Had Been With me it’s not really thriller but it is very romantic and super addicting to read. I highly recommend this book.
