Task 25.6 requires you to read a book from option 1 and a book from option 2. Both of your books come from option 1.

FYI, I have you at 190 pts. I think you added only 10 points in message 620 instead of 30 to your total.

20 x 2 = 40
30 x 5 = 150
40 + 150 = 190

The reason it fit just looked like a string of letters with random ones capitalized and not a description of what the task was. It took me a bit to figure out the letters were the title and author of the book.

Adding what word was being looked for in front, which you did in the repost, would have worked such as: Aphrodite found in (what you posted)
Or even : Aphrodite found in title/author (without trying to show where each letter was)

Task 25.1/Option 1/Book 1 - requires a reference if the setting is not obvious. MPGs can be very subjective, and by themselves do not show the setting of the book.

This book was okayed by the task writer in the help thread. Isn't that enough? If not, from the blurb on the back of the copy I read " The IHalmuit of Northern Canada numbered 7000 souls, by 1946 when 25 year old Farley Mowat began a two year stayin the Arctic"

The task creator can confirm that the book has the correct characteristics to fit the task. But you still need to post the requirements of the task. In this case, a reference to the setting since it is not obvious on the book page.

Adding that blurb when you repost will work.

In trying to figure out why your total went from 2 BB to 1 BB, I discovered that you had actually posted the wrong task number with the description when you posted the book that earned BB.

YOUR POST 825 says Task 10.5 but has the description for 10.1. Apparently I missed it too, because I recorded it for 10.1 and the book earned 2 BB. This is the only post I see which claims BB.

I have your correct total points at 425 with 2 BBs and 10 GOs. But I wanted to make sure that you knew that I have recorded 10.1 as completed and not 10.5 which requires 2 or more authors.

I think as of April 21 not including today's post and assuming my repost for 25.1 is acceptable, I have 425 points
15x 2= 30
20x3= 60
25 x 5= 125
30 x 8 240
Total is 425
All assuming my math is correct, no guarantees.

As far as 10.5 vs 10.1, that must have been a typo. Sorry for the extra work! I have not yet completed 10.5. Also 1199 was wrong for the number of BBs, I did have 2 BBs. I realized that today and went back to correct it, assuming you wouldn't yet have reviewed last night's entry. But I didn't note that update anywhere.
