Jeff | 974 comments Hello. I noticed several dozen books in my shelves that definitely had Kindle Edition for the format when I added them, but now show ebook as the format. When I started to look through them, I noticed that they were all (so far) previous editions that had an ACE added.

Shouldn't the edition remain the same for the older edition when the ACE is created? Just on my shelf for my Kindle books, at least 30-40 of them now show ebook as the format. Is there something I'm not aware of about this?

Jeff | 974 comments Ok, thanks. Yeah I've noticed a lot of other weird things too and figured it was mostly automated, just wanted to make sure before I corrected anything.

Jeff | 974 comments Ugh, I guess this also explains why I have a bunch of Audible Audio editions that were deleted, and now there's a different edition (mostly Hardcover or Paperback editions) with a Date Added value from January 2025, even though they've been in my Goodreads since I joined in 2016. Really annoying that they will now sort with books that I added in January, rather than the other end of my list.
