I ADORED it with all my heart. It's a bit slow and not the typical romance book (guilty, it even made me cry), but you won't absolutely regret it!
For me, yes. It was one of my favorite books to read. I think it really makes you reflect on the legacy you want to leave behind
I didn't find it an easy read.the romance is indeed light, but everything else is pretty... romantic (i.e. part of the romantic movement). Bucolic, expressionist, decadentist, aestheticist etc.
If you like that stuff, you should be able to blaze through it. Otherwise, as others pointed out, it's really slow. I had to put it aside for half a month because it felt too demanding to finish all together.
I think it's for sure worth reading! I think it definitely picks up as the book goes on. I liked the premise and thought it was pretty unique.
For me personally I loved the book and found it a somewhat easy read! It can seem repetitive in some area's, but I believe that was the point of Addie's story to help the reader understand her everyday life.
I thought this book was good, but not for the enemies to lovers romance reason. More good in a "I choose to keep going because I find all these things in the world beautiful, even when these other things are hard" way. :)
The book is AN ABSOLUTE MUST READ. At first I tought it was going to be boring, but boy I was wrong. Pls read it, I rlly need someone who will fangirl with me
@Anja Petrovic okkkk sounds goodcan t wait to read it now
I will let you know my thoughts after reading it
Dude yes! It’s not the type of novel I’m usually into but the writing style & story pacing is done so well that it really was a pleasure to read. Schwab really makes you have empathy for the characters in ways that I haven’t seen in a long time & their experiences/struggles are so unique you’ll be staying up late into the night finding out how they deal with them.
