Hello! I wrote a book on Christian Singleness!

Hello! My name is Mylee Tucker (Bankston) and I am excited to be a apart of this group. I wrote a book on Christian Singleness after experiencing a long period of singleness myself (26 years to be exact).

There were so many Christian singles who are discouraged and frustrated in this season. I noticed the Church as a whole hasn't always done the best job at loving our single community well or providing a way for them to find community at church. I wrote this book from the perspective of being single who was looking to find purpose and joy in the midst of unmet desires. My book is broken up into three parts:

1) Why is Singleness So Hard?
2) Where Is God In a Season of Waiting?
3) How To Enjoy Your Single Years

I'd love for anyone this topic resonates with to check it out or share to a friend who is in a season of singleness and who needs some encouragement!

Congratulations on your new book Mylee! I was single 18 years and was a single mom for 8 of those years! I prayed continuously that if God wanted me to be married that He would send a Godly many in my life. I was actually happy being single raising my daughter alone, or so I thought! One day, out of nowhere, I met a man and in just five minutes, God connected our hearts. He gave me a vision and told me to love him and keep this relationship pure! It was a profound moment of God! To make a very long story short here, after understanding what was going on, this man was not a Godly man. Not as the world saw him anyway. God changed his life profoundly and yes, now he is a Godly man. So, when you pray, ask God to send you the man He has for you. The miracles of God that He has allowed me to witness have been a huge blessing in my life! Married 17 years now and reflecting, I am grateful to see the blessings of how God not only changed his life but mine as well. Trust God Mylee! He has great plans for you! Jeremiah 29:11. 🙏
