Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro, its not a bad book, its actually a brilliant book, but will it obliterate your feelings and destroy your soul? Yes.
twisted lies. i thought the two first books were okay, and twisted hate was mid, but MY GOD twisted lies went on and on. i found myself skimming through the last few chapters just to be done with it. its was so predictable having read the other ana huang books. there is always forced proximity at first, then they get together, then something bad happens and they fight/something illegal happens, then they make up and are happy again.
also i hate that they always get away with all the illegal stuff because all the male characters are billionares or have connections to one, so they just fix every legal issue they run into. it just annoys me. i know many people love these books but i did not enjoy them.
I have a lot because booktok keeps lying to metwisted love - alex was bad enough, and then he started singing. the third-act breakup also made me want to throw my book across the room
king of battle and blood - they did it while riding a horse. if that doesn't explain enough to you about why this book is bad than I don't know what does
it ends with us - her name is lily blossom bloom, and her daughters middle name is dory after a character from a freaking fish movie
the graham effect - she's so "smol" and "weak" and she's soooooo quirky and different by playing hockey
I prolly have more tbh but these are the really bad ones
1. we were liars (if I wasn't at school and had makeup on I would have cried my eyes out)2. math books from school 💋
six months later by (i believe) natalie d. richards. plot was really intriguing, but had horrible execution. i swear the whole time the fmc was obsessing over her memory loss but not actually doing anything about it- quite literally felt like every other page you were reminded she didn't remember the past six months, as if that wasn't the title of the book

the twisted series by ana haug Dreamland billionaires
powerless by lauren Roberts.
the writing style of authors were like sooooo baddddd!
all the mmcs were alike. like alex and crishtian are essentially the same guys with little different interests.
kit and kai were exactly same guys with different hair colours. kai is a ruthless killer with no feelings but acts like an annoying romantic flirt. kitt acts like an annoying romantic flirt but is not a killer but king.
Dreamland billionaires.... all the brothers are same people. literally. all the girls are so annoying that i wanted to rip my eyelids off.
@kashfa so the reason why you don’t like any of those books is just because the mmcs are the same people with different hair colours?
it ends with us & it starts with us, although the books bring up an important topic (DA) i think the progression of the story and the characters felt a bit flat and lacking in depth. many points felt very cliché to me as well, that is not always a problem if it is done right but these books just didn't hit that spot for me personally. i have not DNF any book so far but these two were close calls but i decided to finish them regardless in order to be able to build my opinion on the entire story which feels better than doing so based on just a part of it. why did i read both if i already disliked the first one? i bought both books together bc they were on sale and since i already had the second book at home i decided to finish that one as well.
@savannah no. the reason i hate them mostly is because their writing style is just bad. you know the "show don't tell" style in books.... the books i mentioned are just tell.. keep telling... tell some more. and yes. almost all the characters in dreamland billionaire is same. powerless' two main make characters Kitt and kai are exceptionally alike as i mentioned before. also powerless has plot holes.

Ugly Love by CoHo. The only reason i finished it is because i was faaaaaar behind on my reading goal.
For me it was Tender Is The Flesh because I had high expectations, but in my opinion the writing style in confusing and honestly bad :( (tbh I haven’t finished it yet but I plan on trying)

I bought that book for $20 and when I finished it I just sold it to a random person for $10 lmao😭
It was insanely confusing
I once started reading "It End With Us", and then I saw various comments on how toxic the writer is, and I immediately closed the book. I later got to know about the overall plot of the story, and I'm thanking the universe that I didn't proceed with reading the book. and, of course, every text book the school has lmao.
The wrong bride by Catherine Maura Ohhhh god this book was the reason I joined goodreads because I was so frustrated and I wanted to relish my frustration via bad reviews
1. Where We Go From Here by Sapphire HaleIt’s advertised as single dad, but no one tells you that the son in question is 21 years old and has a fiancée.. And overall the book has no plot, MMC and FMC are so annoying and shallow.
2. Once You're Mine & Now You're Mine by Morgan Bridges
No. Just no. MMC has zero respect for the FMC, plus she is annoying as hell. Trust me, it’s not worth it.

Well I guess it really is true - one person's trash is another's treasure...It's so funny to me in these threads how the same books will be mentioned as the ABSOLUTE best!! and ABSOLUTE worst!! books people have ever read! lol
