May F. Dets (fstilinski24) | 6 comments This is so much more heavy than Hunting Adeline for me. It never happened to me before, my heart is pounding and i feel weird. Can anyone relate? Am I the only one? The Ritual? I loved it, read it in a day. But this one? I can barely go through ten pages without needing a pause.
Also, tips and tricks how to feel better?

Luci | 5 comments I found the sinner harder to get through. IMO it’s worth it but I did have to put it down a few times.

Krisha (krisha_) | 155 comments It wasn't heavy rather only filled with smut! I dnf'ed that book because it was quite frustrating to read a 600+ page book with no plot in it. Smut was well written but I cannot put myself through 600 pages knowing nothing really happens.

Marissa | 1 comments I recently read ritual - question - do they get better or are other books in the series better than others? I felt like it took me hundreds of pages before I saw any plot. I love spice - but like others mentioned, there just wasn’t much of a connection. I would think for 600 pages there would be some type of build up beforehand but maybe not?

Violet 🖤 | 17 comments I liked The Ritual and Carnage from this series. I couldn’t do the audio book as I had to take several breaks reading Carnage.

Angie (on trip through Europe) (chocomademoiselle) | 17 comments I was quite interested in the series during the ritual and really liked Riat, but the sinner somehow threw me off and I took a pause from the series. If to continue reading - it would be I think just to reach Carnage, after little introduction I've got curious about them. Heard that many people loved it the most too.

VooDouxDoll Reads (voodouxdollreads) | 1 comments It’s a hit or miss for most people. But I LOVED The Sinner! Out of the series my favorites were The Sinner, The Sacrifice, and Madness. I didn’t feel as if there was no plot. Was there tons of smut, Absolutely! But it showed a more messed up and twisted side to the lords. I didn’t have a problem with Lincoln in the ritual but was ready to throw hands in The Sinner. So I guess part of it could be perception. To those who are uneasy read a little and if it’s not your thing so be it🤷‍♀️

The sinner was certainly hard to read but I find the series just gets better and better. As much as I love Ryat I think Madness is my favourite book so far of the series.

Luci | 5 comments I agree !
It was harder to read than the others but I’m glad I kept going it got better and I personally really liked carnage and sabotage. Almost finished madness too I was skeptical about it because I didn’t know how I felt about Haiden at first.
