Amy | 19 comments When you buy a Kindle book, it actually says right on it that you’re purchasing the rights to use the content, not the actual content itself. So, I’m not sure what receipts would do.

Idk about Audible content, as I don’t own any, but I expect it’s similar.

Amyiw | 225 comments Terms of service have changed and it is no longer considered "buy" but use and can be revoked at anytime. So nope. Welcome to the new dystopian world where you will own nothing (at least nothing that is electronic and has any programmable controls), so you can go back to buying the MP3 CDs or audio. I have a bunch of those as they were cheaper at the time. I'm willing to pay more to own now but they are not offered as much and cost a lot more (should as they are physical but... ). If I could buy the Jacky Leon series in CD format, I would. Same with the Shea books. But Amazon has that locked down too.
