I just could not get into this book, I read 100 pages then decided I'm done with it. But people love it, So I want to know if y'all DNF, what you liked about it, if I should try to read it again, etc.

yesss i really couldnt get into it , ive tried reading it like 3 times and ive given up , ive accepted that its just not for me
it’s my favourite book in the world there’s nothing like it for me that’s just my opinion but k really think you should give it a go
No, I actually really enjoyed the first book, but it's veeeery YA. I read the whole trilogy but more for the vibes and the aesthetic because it's giving carnival candyland and I love that. The story itself is boring and basic though.
I am struggling.... I struggle with her writing style. I prefer first person when reading "fantasy". But I also feel like the way she has written the story is quite "basic" in a loose term... I'm over half way and I am determined to finish it but idk if ill get the second book or not-?
I absolutely loved it!! I get it though, I was definitely more invested in characters and romance than plot.
I haven't read the third one yet but bc I wanted to wait for the soft cover but idek if it's worth it bc I don't really remember the other books and I don't think they were great
damn after reading these… i loved this book! i thought the overall aesthetic and characters were really good, i mean Jacks was amazing and you grow to love him. i wasn’t a massive fan of Evangeline, but i didn’t think the plot was that basic but i think it helps to read Caraval first too!!
