nat I have been considering downloading Fable - I heard you can transfer your Goodreads data to it - not sure if that's true or how it works?

I've been using Goodreads for almost 10 years now, so part of me feels like I'd be betraying Goodreads if I use Fable. I might use both at the same time???

Since I have a degree in Digital Design and studied UX/UI Design in college, the outdated interface and functionality of Goodreads is becoming increasingly frustrating - I find that I cannot overlook it anymore.

Still, it holds a special place in my heart, so I’m not sure I can ever fully switch to Fable - but maybe just use Fable in addition to Goodreads?

Let me know your thoughts!!

Malissa (malissa1578) | 54 comments You can transfer your goodreads books to Fable, however after that everything is based on their available book library. It's not bad, there are better community interactions for sure as you can interact directly with each other.

I use both. I like the book tracking here more than Fable, but I prefer the community interaction there as it is way better.

kylie emma (kylieemmaa) | 21 comments When you first download the app it will suggest importing all your GoodReads data so it stays up to date and you don't have to manually add each book you've read, reviewed, etc.

I love it because of how organized it is, and the minimal amount of ads I see, create cute posts, see a calendar of how much you've been reading, notifications are easy to navigate, and tracking your reading is more accurate because you have to click "I read today" at the top of the app in order to count days for reading.

I wish more people were on it, its fantastic! add me @kylieemmaa
