I need to get this copy of my book removed from good reads as it is an old version and the book is being republished and It is under contract with a new publisher. I need to get this one removed and help with being able to claim the new version.

Goodreads policy is to keep all published editions on the site, as readers want to shelve the edition they have.
David wrote: "Goodreads policy is to keep all published editions on the site, as readers want to shelve the edition they have."well this edition isn't published and the publisher no longer exists.
I'm a little confused. You mentioned that the edition was 'being republish[ed]' which implies it had been published before. However, now you’re saying it isn’t published. Do you mean it was published in the past but is no longer available, or was it never published at all?Additionally, reviews of this exact edition exist online (for example, https://www.reiters.com/book/97819578...), it appears on Google Books, and it has been shelved by three readers.
Finally, since it has an ISBN, even if we could otherwise help, policy prevents us from removing an edition with an ISBN. Are you planning to reuse the same ISBN? If so, the solution is to create an alternate-cover edition (ACE).
For future reference, even if we could remove this edition, it does not require a superlibrarian, so you are posting in the wrong folder. However, as I started to handle your request, I will continue to do so.

IT was then put under contract by a new publisher who made a new isbn, a new cover, and the book was re-written. If you cant delete it can it be merged with the new listing so then the only one available would be the new version?
I'm afraid our policy is to keep all published editions, even if they are no longer available or the publisher has closed, so that readers who own a copy can continue to reference it. Merging is equivalent to deleting. All we can do is add "Out of print" to the description.
We can add the new edition and you can set it as the default edition. That way, the new edition is the one that is seen on searches and on your author page.
