Books where protagonist is kept isolated and is led to believe that the apocalypse or something similar has happened and all of humanity is dead, only to find out it was a lie

I've always been a big fan of books with isolated setting, and I've recently discovered this niche of "post-apocalypse but the apocalypse never actually happened" where the protagonists is kept isolated in a bunker/cabin in the woods/or whatever under the false belief that humanity is dead and their family/group are the only survivors. Unfortunately it's a pretty hard trope to google, I keep getting regular apocalypse books lol

Any book with this premise would be great, but the smaller the cast of characters, the better
