I have a completed MS, which I am now preparing a query letter for. I would love your feedback on the following.
* please note I have omitted the personal bio, comp titles etc. but these will be included.

Hi XXX
Thank you for your time.
I would like to query *TITLE*, a 100K Horror which explores themes of motherhood and loss of self, set against the paranormal world of demonic possession.

After complications during the birth of her son, young mother of two, Dana is left fighting for her life in a medically induced coma. During this period a door to another world creeks open and a demon finds its way through.
Now awake and battling the fourth trimester stresses of sleep deprivation and isolation, Dana cannot shake the feeling she has brought something back with her. Nightmares of a child’s exorcism and a sinister entity seem, at first, to be symptoms of her post-partum depression returning, until her older child Ellen sees the demon too.
Dana is torn between believing the hauntings are a product of psychosis, (which she knows intimately, having suffered PPD after Ellen’s birth) and fearing the demon to be real. If the latter is true and the demon is targeting young Ellen, then Dana must give into her fears and re-enter that dark place she knows all too well. If she does not, the demon will almost certainly accomplish his possession of her daughter.
Stuck in an endless looping nightmare, Dana must uncover the secret of the exorcism from her dreams in order to save Ellen, but first she must uncover a buried memory of her own. If she does not confront her own dark past, she will be trapped in the demon’s world for good.
