I enjoyed this book! I didn't think it was the best book I have ever read, but I thought it was good. I was going to give it three stars because I felt like it was moving kind of slow and very similar to other stories I have read, but then the ending surprised me and I bumped it up to four stars. Now I feel like I have to read the next one because of the ending.
I ended up receiving this as an ARC last year but waiting until this year to read it but, I really wished I enjoyed this as much as you did, Bailey. I rated this 2 stars. The writing was too juvenile, too many characters to remember, and the heists were too long to focus on. Heist two, especially. It took up more than half the book. I do agree that ending was good. One I didn’t see coming but, other than that, I just couldn’t enjoy this. I am planning to read the sequel, given that it is an ARC as well.

I would definitely agree that the heists were too long at times!!! I hope the second one is better than the first!

That said I did think at first there would be a romance between Noelia and Ross lol not her and Devroe, I feel like that would have been more interesting
After reading the general consensus on this book, it sounds like it moves slower than a snail in a marathon, and the writing level is on par with a 7th-grade essay. So, unless you're into speed-reading through molasses or reminiscing about middle school writing assignments, I think I will pass on this one.
I've already read this but i personally thought it was really good! there were a lot of characters and details and i sometimes forgot who was who. I love any book with this type of vibe but i can see why it was a slow read for other ppl. i know lots of people don't like events that take up a lot of the book so you might not enjoy reading that much. btw I've read the second book and I think it's pretty good too but quite similar to this one :)
