Elsie | 969 comments Okay, let's get ONE thing straight: I HATE, HATE, HATE going to bed on time. I'm always staying up till around 10 or 11, but I'm always sooooooo lazy in the mornings.
I don't know if this is entirely a great idea to make this random chat, but I'm doing it anyway.
I really want to wake up earlier, so I'm happier and healthier in the mornings. I also want to start working out, so I have a flatter stomach. I don't hate it, trust me, I love every part of my body, but there is a part of my stomach that just makes me subconscious, so I want to try. Plus, I've heard that working out produces a chemical in your body that adds to your happiness and healthiness throughout the day!

Can anyone give me ideas for a good, awakening routine for the nighttime (it's hard for me to fall asleep, so I want a relaxing routine to help) or for the morning (I want to be awake and ready to learn, and wake up feeling refreshed and happy so I'm not getting frustrated and mad at people). Anyone can steal these ideas, I think everyone might struggle with this a little? I'm going to start Monday morning.

Sarai (book_boyfriend_addict) | 62 comments i also have trouble getting up in the mornings (and sleeping) but something that forces me to get out of bed is making a nice relaxing alarm but turning it up really loud and putting it somewhere i can't easily reach so that i have to get up to make it stop

Elsie | 969 comments Haha. Okay, I'll try it. I always have to sit up to reach my phone in the mornings, then faint into the bed.

Khadijah | 85 comments I would say to use warm soft colors for lights and using a dimmer. No caffeine 4 hours before going to sleep.
Silence your phone
Do not go on your phone in the morning.
Stretch at night and in the morning.
Journal before going to sleep
Read before bed.
Use a diffuser and essential oils
Make your bed as soon as possible
Avoid eating really heavy food items that are way way too filling.
Avoid drinking too much water.
